Automated testing with high throughput rate
The CIRCOGRAPH sensor systems were originally developed by FOERSTER for testing semi-finished products such as wire or rods. However, the rotating heads are also excellently suited for testing a broad range of components, including piston pins. The rotating heads are therefore installed in systems such as the ROTO-PUSH. The rotating probes operate at intervals and are able to display even the smallest surface defect from a defect depth of approx. 30 µm in high resolution and full length. The probes rotate at high speed around the specimen and scan its surface without making contact in a helical manner. This allows a high throughput rate of up to 3 m/s with seamless testing.
