FOERSTER runs

9 runners from FOERSTER participated in the “26th Reutlingen Altstadtlauf”

70 years and running – with this motto, 9 runners from FOERSTER participated in the “26^th Reutlingen Altstadtlauf”, a 5 km and 10 km run through the historic parts of Reutlingen city center. In bright sunshine and summery 30 degrees Celsius (86 degree Fahrenheit) even the fire brigade had to step in to get the runners on the track with a shower from the fire hose. The 2.5 km long track, which had to be completed two or four times depending on the kind of race, led through the winding alleys of the old town of Reutlingen, past the spectators, which had made themselves comfortable in beer gardens and street cafés. Even though the very fast times were reserved for other runners, the FOERSTER team was able to show with a 16^th place in the company classification that they had also ambitious participants at the start. Arrived at the finish line, everyone was a winner, because taking part is all that matters!
