70 Years of Passion for Non-destructive Testing

With a Family Day under the motto "FOERSTER Rallye", FOERSTER celebrated its 70^th anniversary on Saturday, June 16^th, 2018 on its company premises. Employees were invited to participate in an in-house scavenger hunt to learn more about the world of FOERSTER at many hands-on stations. Various attractions for young and old made for an entertaining and eventful day.

"Today we can proudly look back at what we have achieved together over the past 70 years," President Felix Förster lauded his employees and their families on the anniversary. When Professor Dr. Friedrich Förster founded Institut Dr. Foerster GmbH & Co. KG in 1948, no one even imagined that it would one day become a globally operating company with 10 subsidiaries worldwide and a total of almost 600 employees. From one vision, a world-renowned brand was created that has been shaping the non-destructive testing industry to this day like no other. From the finest wire to man-sized tubes - with FOERSTER products quality becomes visible.

FOERSTER thanked its employees, who, with their dedicated commitment, are indispensable for the success of the company, with this great day. Guests discovered the diverse areas of FOERSTER - from detection and magnetics to non-destructive testing of semi-finished products and components. Various hands-on stations invited to a playful approach of work done at FOERSTER and to follow in the footsteps of Professor Friedrich Förster.

We will continue to provide our customers with innovative products and system solutions in the future and look forward to more exciting challenges and projects. This family event got FOERSTER well on its way to the next 70 years!
